Warranty & Legal Guarantee

Legal Guarantee of Conformity

All products sold by ModuSpace to consumers are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity under applicable EU and Luxembourg consumer protection law.

Under this guarantee, a product must:

  • Correspond to the description, type, quantity, and quality stated at the time of sale
  • Be fit for its intended purpose and for any specific purpose communicated to ModuSpace before purchase
  • Be free from defects in materials, construction, or workmanship at the time of delivery

In Luxembourg, consumer goods are generally covered by a 2-year legal guarantee of conformity from the date of delivery. If a defect appears within this period and can be shown to have existed at the time of delivery, you are entitled to a repair or replacement, and where these are not possible or disproportionate, to a price reduction or full refund.

Commercial Warranty

Some products sold by ModuSpace may also carry a commercial warranty from the manufacturer or supplier. Where applicable, the terms and duration of any commercial warranty will be provided with the product or upon request.

A commercial warranty is in addition to your statutory rights under the legal guarantee of conformity and does not replace or limit those rights.

Wall Beds and Built-In Solutions

For wall beds, built-in wardrobes, storage systems, and custom installations, the scope of the guarantee may depend on how the product was installed. Professional installation is strongly recommended for all structurally fixed products.

Damage or defects resulting from improper installation by the customer or an unauthorised third party may not be covered under the product warranty. ModuSpace will confirm installation requirements and warranty conditions before your order is finalised.

Exclusions

The guarantee does not cover damage caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Misuse, accidental damage, or neglect
  • Unauthorised modifications or repairs
  • Failure to follow care or maintenance instructions
  • Damage caused by inappropriate installation not carried out by ModuSpace or an approved installer
